This course will help you find more fulfillment, joy, peace and self contentment in the face of your illness
We will look at evidence based cognitive behavioural therapy approaches, while also discussing and reflecting on alternative creative approaches developed to reduce the negative effects of living with chronic pain. This course will present psychological theoretical information in a bite -sized relatable ways to provide you with a grounding understanding, promoting inspiration for you to thrive even in the face of your illness.
Together we will develop an interpersonal understanding of how chronic pain and fatigue affects you. The course helping you to develop a deeper perspective on your own beliefs about illness that will in turn promote balanced alternative ideas in managing the effects of chronic pain and fatigue.
We aim to reduce the impact that chronic pain and fatigue can have on one’s life by reflecting on the psychological, social and biological factors that maintain the condition. This course will provide real-life activities and interventions to help you regain confidence, contentment and enjoyment, and find the life that you can be happy to live.
